In the kingdom of Teruna, the red-cloaked Seruani teach the Terunans the art of love. Taken from their homes at seventeen to be trained, they are shunned as outcasts by society and considered the lowest of the low. So when Prince Tanish falls in love with the Seruan Feyar, the man who took his virginity and the only one to share his bed, he is not about to declare that love. No one can ever know, because the consequences would be too painful to consider for both of them.

When the king of Vancor visits Teruna, he promises that his son, Prince Sorran, will marry Prince Tanish to solidify the alliance between the two kingdoms, with the proviso that the virginal Sorran is instructed in the art of pleasing his husband-to-be. When Tanish’s father chooses Feyar to be this instructor, the lovers decide Prince Sorran must be taught that this is to be a marriage in name only….

A resentful prince, unwilling to share his lover.

A resentful Seruan, unwilling to share his prince.

And the shy prince whose very nature sparks changes in the lives of all those around them.

Teruna is about to change forever.

A Bond of Three Sensual Bonds Book 1 edition by KC Wells Literature Fiction eBooks

The setting is a fantasy world similar to middle earth or the mystical ancient world. Teruna is the center of three kingdoms. Kandor borders Teruna on the west, with mountains that separate Kandor and Teruna, while Vancor is on the east borders of Teruna.

The well written plot features the elements of anguish, jealousy, secrecy and romantic interludes. The kingdom of Kandor is the enemy of Teruna. Rumors of Kandor’s intent to attack Teruna motivate the Teruna king to form an alliance with Vancor. The combined kingdoms of Teruna and Vancor would then be able to defeat Kandor. To accomplish the treaty, the kings decided that their sons should be united in marriage.

The main characters are Prince Tanish of Teruna, Feyar, Tanish’s lover and Prince Sorran of Vancor.

Tanish suffers from guilt because he has loved Feyar for years, but the laws of the kingdom forbid Tanish or anyone from acknowledging Feyar in public. Tanish is forced to keep his love a secret.

As required by Teruna law, Feyar was forcibly enlisted into being a sex tutor for the aristocracy. However Feyar was fortunate enough to be chosen as Tanish’s exclusive bed partner. Feyar regretted the lost of contact with his family, but could not be repentant for the love he shared with Tanish.

Sorran is extremely perceptive; he seeks equality for all the citizens in the realm. When Sorran discovers the love that already exists between Tanish and Feyar, Sorran is heartbroken. Nevertheless, Sorran has a natural magnetism that neither Feyar nor Tanish can resist.

A Bond of Three is an outstanding enjoyable saga. The engaging characters draws the readers into their world by demonstrating the realistic emotional pitfalls Tanish, Feyar and Sorran had to endure before their connection of love was firmly established. The display of compassion in each man is heartwarming; the intimacy scenes are superb.

A Bond of Three Sensual Bonds Book 1 edition by KC Wells Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

This story was wonderful. It had the perfect amount of plot, love, angst and sex. I can understand the hesitation in reading a ménage a trios but I can assure you it was written perfectly. There are no cringeworthy moments, just a beautiful love story between three men. I highly recommend it.
I was surprised by this book. I'm not usually a fan historical fiction (if that's even what you call this) only because my brain doesn't process it well. But I am a huge fan of this author. Anyway I really loved this book. It was a magnificent love story that is told only the way K.C. Wells can!!
I absolutely loved this book. It hit all the right benchmarks for me m/m polyamorous fantasy romance with its world equivalent to pleasure slaves. It was a fantastic read and the set up and world building was perfect! I absolutely loved the Seruani! They reminded me of the Feyra Heyr in Aisling Castilla's/Nix's Metaphor universe with their powers and their teachings of pleasure. The way Feyar, Tanish, and Sorran's relationship developed was beautifully done and this book is easily one I will read over time and again. It is a beautiful story and I hope for more in its universe because its world is amazing!
I am a big KC Wells fan, but this one just didn't do it for me. The biggest reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the conflicts in this book were solved to easily. Throughout the book it seemed everything just fell into place. I did find that the character in this book were easy to love and you wanted them to have their HEA, So I'm glad that they did. This book is a good one for a lazy day at home but I personally didn't fine it to emotional or in-depth. I will still be looking forward to more from this author.
K.C. Wells is one of my very favorite authors and with each subsequent book she writes, I love her even more. Her characters are wonderful in every way. Although I loved all three MCs in this book, I truly wanted to wrap Sorran up and keep him with me forever. There wasn't anything about this book that I didn't love. I never wanted to leave Teruna and I hope Ms. Wells will give us a chance to visit there again!
Loved it! KC Wells does a great job creating a dark age world broken into kingdoms ruled by monarchies and served by pleasure slaves where slaves are forced to serve and laws exist forbidding love or acknowledging them outside the bedroom. There is much angst as Prince Tannish who secretly loves Feyar finds out the king has made an alliance that will marry him off to the child of neighboring kingdom to strengthen their military stance. The arrival of Sorran reeks havoc on Tannish and Feyar as they strive to be true to each other emotionally after Feyar is to told by the king to train Sorran in the acts of love in preparation for their upcoming wedding. Its a well developed complex story of diversity and standing up for what you believe in with a hint of predestined fate. ***** I highly recommend reading it.
I was never completely a fan of mènage à trois, but this book did it for me. I had my doubts about a relationship and love actually going three ways, or two if you look at it from one of the three points of view, so I was sceptical about reading this.
To my utter surprise, this book changed all of that for me. I was worried that there would be an imbalance in the relationship, that one of that parties would be a third wheel somehow. Not so. The love these three share is truly portrayed as unconditional, equal and strong.
I was also suspicious of jealousy and the element of cheating. Now, I actually enjoy a bit of jealousy, especially when one of the characters are stubborn and childish but, once again, there is no jealousy between these guys.
The best thing about this book is the way the three love each other, their acceptance of the relationship and each other, and their unity. They stand together no matter what.
If you are in the mood for a decent romance that's slightly less conventional than your everyday love stories, ignore all other books and get this one. It's different, but it will melt your heart.
