Ruth Strubhar is devastated after her boyfriend leaves her in order to marry someone else. She withdraws from the world and half wishes that she were dead. Her family arrange for her to move in with her kindly aunt Miriam for a while, believing a change of community will do her good.

Great book. Very well written.

The Amish Handyman's Heart is a sweet story but short stories miss so much of the story and ends to soon.

This was a short book but I loved it. I am addicted to reading books about Amish. Luv the ending
This was a good story, although it wasn't very long. I did notice lots of typing mistakes for words. For example "not" when it should have been "now". Distracting.
